Sending personal belongings between the UK and Bulgaria is convenient, but many people make small mistakes that can lead to extra costs or even damaged items. Here are the 5 most common errors – and how to avoid them.
1. Use a sturdy box
Always pack your belongings in a solid, strong box.
Avoid black bags and colorful plastic bags.
2. Limit the weight
Keep each box between 15–20 kg.
For bulky items, consider using a pallet.
3. Secure the inside
Use bubble wrap, paper, or clothes for cushioning – but never when packing a TV into a box.
Make sure there are no empty spaces inside so items don’t move around.
4. Seal the box properly
Use strong packing tape – across the top, bottom, and edges.
5. Add sender and recipient details
Place a sheet with the sender’s and recipient’s name, phone, and address inside the box. That way, even if the outside label falls off, we can still deliver your parcel correctly.

Conclusion
Proper packaging guarantees that your parcel will arrive safe, on time, and without unnecessary costs.
